I got introduced to @AlienQueenNFT through the @rektguyNFT mint for which she collaborated with @OSF_nft on a series of incredible 1/1 rektguys.
I was lucky enough to mint one and what started as a tough year getting into the NFT & Crypto markets turned for the best when @Anonymoux2311 took it off my hands to add to his Vault
So this is a long overdue thread about the artist!
Colours & drips
The flashy colours are the first thing that jumps to the eye when looking at @AlienQueenNFT ‘s work.
You immediately feel that colour rush getting to your head, almost too strong!
But then the constant dripping takes over, slowly wrapping you into this comforting gooeyness.
Just addictive! you need to look at another one!
The inspiration
Simple but effective, “her work is largely inspired by her dreams, sex, death and psychedelics”.
@AlienQueenNFT has a unique way of depicting those timeless themes and it hits hard!
The story
When you look for the artist’s background, you cannot but be humbled by what her family went through.
@AlienQueenNFT has turned this into a force and this commands respect.
”The experiences of her family, who are survivors of the Cambodian "Killing Fields" genocide are heavily influenced in her art as most of her illustrations depict love and death”
The altruism
It is clear that AlienQueen gives back.
Supporting other artists is one thing but she also frequently raises funds for important causes.
Partnership with @monsterbudsnft to create a special piece being auctioned for charity to help women in Afghanistan, “Make love not war” as her charity piece to support Ukrainians through @reli3f_official are good examples.
The interaction
Through Twitter & Spaces, when you look for AlienQueen, the vibes are positive!
Good banter, not too serious, she is effortlessly interacting with the NFT community and that is refreshing.
Most importantly, she is coming to the upcoming Rektshow and that shows commitment!
The collectors
When looking at the roster of collectors, one cannot but be impressed by the quality of the collector base.
NFT Whales and Diamond hands is the vibe.
Don’t see them rushing for the door any time soon!

The recognition
If her collectors weren’t proof enough of her foray on the NFT Art scene, AlienQueen was exposed in @artbasel Miami through the “Obscura collective” and luxury brand “Gucci” had her feature in their @SuperRare pod.
The collabs
AlienQueen has been celebrated by the Web3 community.
After landing an ATH for the OG Degenz, she was an essential part of the @rektguyNFT success through her contribution of mythicals 1/1.
Besides, not only does she have her own PEPE card “Feels Rekt Man” but she is also part of the growing Meme Card collection by @punk6529 with “GM before you Die!”
DAP
The upcoming Art PFP drop through the @DegenzNFT Access Pass (DAP) is looking particularly exciting and should put more eyes on her work.
@greatmando_nft and @OSF_nft have been particularly successful with @rektguyNFT and I am sure that teaming up with @AlienQueenNFT for her very own PFP will do wonders.
